Intra-Mural Kabaddi Championship : 2023

Intra-Mural Kabaddi Championship was held at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Government College, Paonta Sahib today, 11th September 2023 with the participation of 6 teams of boys and girls. Intra-mural competition is organized every year in this college. This championship was inaugurated by Acting Principal Dr. Ritu Pant. Along with Sports Committee, Mrs. Sulakshana Sharma, and Dr. Arun Kumar Dafrack were also present at the inauguration of this championship. Dr. Ritu Pant and all other members congratulated the Physical Education Department for their successful organization. This competition was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Zafar Ali, Assistant Professor of Physical Education. Various college teams like Team Sirmaur, Seven Star, Yuva Mandal, and Sirmaur Academy participated in this competition.

During this Kabaddi Championship, Team Sirmaur Girls won the championship by defeating Team Paonta by 3 points. Boys team 7 Star won the semi-final match by defeating Team Sirmaur Academy with the score of 32-20. The final match was played between Sirmaur Academy and 7 Star and Sirmaur Academy won with the score of 14-41. Dr. Mohan Singh was present as the chief guest during the final match.
